Centre for International Law and Global Politics

To study the complex relationship between International Law and Politics is a very delicate task. Over the centuries researchers got used to certain dogmas of the modern Westphalia arrangement, which focused on States. Today that old dogmatic system is challenged by a geopolitical reality that it cannot encompass. This is the reason why research on a postmodern international law is needed. The FGS aims to present a truly global scholarship on International law, not only with European thought, but also with research made in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania. It will present a truly global approach to provide different and better solutions to transnational issues.
